Where suitable sensors are available, it is possible to monitor CO₂ and, in some cases, ammonia, along with the operating status of ventilation systems. This environmental and operational information complements — it does not replace — the facility's livestock management.
Energy and water availability
Critical systems such as ventilation and lighting depend on a steady energy supply, and water availability matters just as much. Monitoring both helps catch interruptions before they become a larger operational problem.
This type of monitoring focuses on the environmental and operational conditions of the facility, not on livestock health or performance outcomes.
